QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Dentures FAQ
We offer both full dentures, which replace a complete arch of missing teeth, and partial dentures, which fill in gaps when you still have some natural teeth remaining. At your visit we help you choose the option that best fits your smile, your bite, and your budget.
Getting dentures usually takes several appointments over a few weeks. We take impressions and measurements, you approve the look and fit at a try-in stage, and then your final dentures are made. We walk you through each step and give you a timeline at your first visit.
It is normal. Your mouth changes shape over time, so dentures may need periodic adjustments or a reline to keep fitting comfortably and securely. Regular checkups let us catch sore spots and fit issues early. You can read more on our Living With Dentures education page.
Rinse and brush your dentures daily with a soft brush and denture cleaner, take them out overnight to let your gums rest, and keep them in water or a soaking solution so they do not dry out. Keep coming in for checkups so we can examine both your dentures and your gum tissue.
Cost depends on whether you need full or partial dentures and the materials used, so we provide a written estimate before treatment. Members of our Modern Dental Membership receive a discount. Call (330) 847-0676 for details.
